He is born in Oran (Algeria) and he moved as a child to Geneva, where he got the bachelor in music at the Collège Voltaire.

He forwarded his studies at the Conservatory in Geneva, studying with Edmond Leloir, Laurence Fowler and Gregoy Cass. In 1983 he got the master and the prize of virtuosity in horn.

Before winning the place of solo hornist at the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana of Lugano, he played in different Orchestras, such as  the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (Geneva)  the Orchestre de chambre de Lausanne, The Collegium Accademicum (Geneva).

In 1989 he obtaidend the mention excellent at the USDAM competition in St Gallen.

In 2002 he is part of the jury of the international competition for wind instruments «Mozart» in Rovereto.

He has recorded at Forlane, with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana and Alain Lombard, the Concertant Symphony by Mozart and the 2. concert for horn and Orchestra always by Mozart.

Furthermore he recorded two pieces at Tirreno by C. F. Semini: Astrakan, written for horn competition of Geneva, and Invezione.

Since 1987 has bee first horn at the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana.

He has been living in Castel San Pietro since 2001. In the free time he likes doing sport, working in the garden and doing activities with the family.
