Foundation Board

The Foundation Council is composed of 8 to 11 members. The following office representatives are provided for: 3 members representing the Canton of Ticino, appointed by the Council of State; 1 member representing the Canton of Grisons, appointed by the Government; 1 member representing the City of Lugano, appointed by the Municipality; 1 member representing the Cooperative Society for Swiss Italian-language radio and television (CORSI), appointed by its Committee; 1 member representing the Association of Friends of the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland, appointed by its Committee;

1 member designated by the musicians of the OSI on their behalf. Additional members may be designated by the Foundation Council itself for co-option, depending on needs or opportunities, up to a maximum of 11 members. The members of the Foundation Council serve a term of four years and are eligible for re-election. The Foundation Council appoints a president and a vice-president within its scope, as well as a secretary, even outside its scope.
